By using Vistara Path, you agree to use the product responsibly and understand that resume tailoring is an assistive tool, not a guarantee of employment, sponsorship, or interview selection.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vistara Path. The product is intended for college students, graduates, and adult job seekers.
Use of the Product
Vistara Path is designed to help users improve resume clarity, formatting, and job alignment. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it.
DSO Workspace Access
DSO workspace access requires a verified institutional work email, full professional name, institution, role title, and official office webpage. By requesting DSO access, you authorize Vistara Path and its configured AI provider to search the matching public institutional domain for evidence that the institution identifies you as a DSO or PDSO. Automatic approval requires matching public evidence. Uncertain, conflicting, internal-test, or incomplete requests remain locked for founder or access-administrator review. Vistara does not require a government ID or immigration document for this workflow, administrators cannot decide their own requests, and applicants receive a reference number and decision notice.
Student and DSO account types are assigned during account creation and cannot be switched from profile settings. A pending DSO request does not receive student tools or advisor tools while it is under review. You may not misrepresent your identity, role, or authority. Verification does not create or imply a partnership, pilot, endorsement, or authorization from the institution.
Opportunity dates and eligibility summaries are planning aids sourced from the linked external organizers. Vistara Path monitors those pages for changes but does not control the programs, guarantee acceptance, or determine eligibility. If a monitored source changes, the last verified record may remain visible with a review warning until the change is confirmed. Private deadline alerts are calculated from the end date supplied by the user and are user-created planning records, not official filing notices or legal deadlines. Email delivery can be delayed or fail, so users remain responsible for tracking authoritative deadlines.
Verified DSO accounts may manage institution-specific procedures for their institution. Draft guidance is private; published guidance becomes visible to students who identify that institution. Vistara Path keeps federal information and school procedure separate and records limited access and change events. A school remains responsible for its published procedures and can update or delete them. Vistara Path does not authorize CPT, recommend or issue an I-20, update SEVIS, or determine a student's eligibility.
Do not provide FERPA-covered education records under an institutional workflow until the school and Vistara have executed a written agreement defining school control, authorized use, access, security, retention, deletion, and redisclosure. Public acceptance of these terms is not an institutional data-processing agreement.
Browser Extension Use
The Vistara Path browser extension is a permission-based companion that can import a job page into the Vistara Path app after you click the extension button. It does not auto-apply, does not submit applications, and is not an official LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, or employer partnership unless separately stated. You are responsible for reviewing imported job content before using it.
AI Processing
By using resume tailoring, resume revision, cover-letter generation, interview-answer generation, or GPT-5.6 application decision briefs, you understand that relevant resume text, job-description text, sponsor-signal context, OPT timing context when provided, and user instructions are processed by third-party AI providers, including Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and OpenAI, so the requested output can be created or reviewed. Do not submit sensitive personal data that is not needed for the job-search workflow.
Product Learning Permission
Vistara Path may use de-identified activity patterns, questions, ratings, feature usage, saved statuses, outcomes, feedback signals, and DSO-confirmed correction signals to improve product guidance, prompts, rules, ranking, testing, evaluation, and future model-training workflows only when you explicitly grant AI/product-learning permission. This permission is optional, revocable in your profile, and separate from anonymous pilot-report permission and public quote permission. Raw resumes, private job details, immigration documents, SEVIS IDs, passport data, and school advising records are excluded unless a separate specific permission is introduced and granted.
Ask Vistara stores raw conversation history temporarily in your browser for up to 30 days. A question is added to Vistara's learning-review queue only when you inspect the de-identified version, confirm that identifying details have been removed, and grant permission for that contribution. You may remove the contribution through the confirmation displayed after submission. Contributions remain pending human review and are not treated as verified answers or immediate model-training data. DSO review does not replace legal review, and questions involving legal strategy or eligibility require qualified counsel.
No False Claims
You should not use Vistara Path to create fake jobs, licenses, employers, certifications, dates, degrees, metrics, or work authorization claims.

Vistara Path is not a law firm and does not provide legal or immigration advice. For immigration questions, speak with your DSO or a qualified attorney.
Sponsor Signal Limitations
Sponsor Signal is a decision-support research feature based on historical public-data signals, including DOL H-1B LCA disclosure records and USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub petition first-decision counts where available. LCA activity and petition history are not the same as a sponsorship guarantee, current hiring policy, job availability, individual petition approval, or legal advice.

Any pricing shown for 2027 is planned pricing only and is not currently available for purchase unless explicitly stated.
